Mixa Orthopedics has been a private, family-owned, orthopedic practice since 2008. Dr. Thomas Mixa works alongside his son, Dr. Patrick Mixa, his wife, Martha Mixa PA-C, and daughter, Anna Mixa PA-C, to provide comprehensive orthopedic care. In addition to managing their practice, both Dr. Thomas Mixa and Dr. Patrick Mixa remain on call and treat patients at multiple hospitals within the Tampa Bay area.

Conservative approach has always been the mainstay of our practice. Surgery is considered only when all other options have been exhausted. Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) stats confirm we have the lowest complication rate in Florida. Both Dr. Thomas Mixa and Dr. Patrick Mixa are available seven days a week performing surgery and conducting urgent consultations. Office hours are five days a week.
