Mohannad Mohammad Sobhy

Mohannad Mohammad Sobhy has held a number of roles in the IT industry since 2005. Mohannad began their career as a UNIX Administrator at Menatel in 2005. Mohannad then moved to Fujitsu in the same role and was responsible for implementing and supporting Redhat, Solaris and AIX. In 2008, they joined Huawei as a Linux Administrator for Network Surveillance and was responsible for administering and maintaining VAS systems and LAN network. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Senior Linux/UNIX Specialist at Ooredoo Group, where they managed all duties related to Linux/UNIX large-scale server environment with +250 Red Hat, CentOS, SuSE, Debian, AIX and Solaris physical/virtual servers. In 2018, Mohannad joined Mixel, Inc. as an IT Manager and then as Senior IT Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and overseeing all IT operations and staff over multiple geographically dispersed office locations, developing IT strategy, and maintaining and managing Data Centre, Server and Storage Systems and technologies.

Mohannad Mohammad Sobhy attended Helwan University Cairo from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering. Mohannad also obtained the CompTIA Linux (Powered by LPI) certification from CompTIA in August 2015. Additionally, they have attended New Baby Garden.
