Iván Garza

Iván Garza has worked as an Android Engineer for four companies. In 2016, they worked for Hi-Line by First Produce Coldstorage, where they built an internal application from scratch for day-to-day operations in a cold storage warehouse. Iván used native Android development alongside Apache libraries for hardware scanner, Parse framework and MongoDB for database and cloud services, and designed UI/UX for the ease of use of the workers. In 2018, they worked for Smule, Inc., where they were an Android Engineer. In 2019, they worked for Mixhalo as a Senior Android Engineer and an Android Engineer. Iván created a new Android application from scratch, utilized modern Android techniques and tools, arranged the application using a Git submodule architecture, created and managed a private SDK, set up a JNI layer, took care of Play Store Console responsibilities, set up Firebase materials, set up Crashlytics for the NDK layer, and chased down and fixed memory leaks. In 2022, they began working for LogRocket as a Technical Author.

Iván Garza has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2011 to 2015. Iván then attended Technical University of Munich from 2016 to 2017 for Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "Kotlin for Android and Java Developers: Clean Code on Android" from Udemy in October 2019, "The Complete Android Developer Course" from Udemy in November 2017, and "Google Play Academy - Store Listing Certificate" from Google Play Academy in August 2022.
