Mirna Hanna PharmD, BCPS, MPH, CCP, CIC, BCMTMS

Mirna Hanna has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical field. Currently, they serve as the Director of Pharmacy Operations and Regulatory Compliance/Pharmacist-In-Charge at Mixlab. Prior to this role, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Union County College and as an Adjunct Faculty at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Mirna has also held positions at Hikma Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmacist-in-Charge and at California Northstate College of Pharmacy as a Clinical Pharmacy Preceptor. Additionally, they have experience as a Clinical Pharmacist at Saint Mary's General Hospital, where they managed various clinical pharmacy activities, supervised pharmacy staff, developed and implemented policies, and collaborated with physicians. Mirna is knowledgeable in therapeutic drug monitoring, formulary management, pharmacoeconomics, antimicrobial stewardship, and pharmacotherapy management programs.

Mirna Hanna completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree at Adelphi University from 2009 to 2012. Mirna Hanna then pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy, which they completed from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they obtained a Master's of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University at Albany, SUNY, specializing in Public Health Practice, which they completed from 2018 to 2021.

In addition to their education, Mirna Hanna has acquired several certifications. Mirna Hanna became a Certified Consultant Pharmacist in November 2019 through the JOINT BOARD FOR CERTIFICATION OF CONSULTANT PHARMACISTS INC. Mirna Hanna completed the National IV Training Program Plus Clinical & Hospital Pharmacy Training for Pharmacists offered by the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) in August 2018. Mirna also obtained certifications such as the APhA Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services Certificate in May 2018, the APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certificate in October 2016, and the APhA The Pharmacist & Patient Centered Diabetes Care Certificate in March 2016 through the American Pharmacists Association.

Mirna Hanna is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPT) since July 2022, certified by the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties. Moreover, they hold a Certified in Infection Control (CIC) certification from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. acquired in October 2020. Mirna Hanna is a Registered Pharmacist recognized by the New York State Education Department since December 2019, the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, the Florida Board of Pharmacy, and the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy; these registrations were obtained in 2018. Additionally, they obtained the AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Certification in July 2018 and the Certified Immunizer certification from the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy in July 2018.
