Head - Disaster Risk Reduction (india) at Miyamoto International

Rohan Shinde has extensive work experience in disaster risk reduction and structural engineering. Rohan currently holds the position of Head - Disaster Risk Reduction at Miyamoto International since January 2023 and also serves as the Team Lead in the same field since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay as a Senior Project Research Scientist from July 2011 to July 2022, where they specialized in structural and earthquake engineering. During their time at the institute, they conducted research on earthquake risk assessment and its integration into disaster management. Rohan Shinde has over 12 years of professional experience in designing, reviewing, and diagnosing concrete structures, with a focus on disaster management and vulnerability assessment.

From 2005 to 2010, Rohan Shinde attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they pursued a Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.tech) in Civil and Structural Engineering.
