Brian Hersey

Brian Hersey is an accomplished legal and business professional with extensive experience in the finance and legal sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director at Mizuho since April 2020, Brian previously held roles including Director and Vice President at Mizuho Bank (USA) from 2005 to 2020, focusing on offshore investment vehicle structuring and client support within the fund administration department. Prior experience includes working as a Contract Associate at Bingham McCutchen, where involvement in commercial and fraud litigation related to the semiconductor industry occurred, as well as serving as a Legal Editor at Nishimura and Partners while studying at Tokyo University, drafting corporate law and finance memoranda.
