Jacob Ehnmark has a strong background in software engineering and technology, with a focus on trading systems and financial technology. Jacob also worked as a Researcher at Tohoku University in Japan, where they focused on the research and development of visualization paradigms and tools for networked information systems and received a Monbukagakusho research scholarship from the Japanese government.

Jacob Ehnmark obtained an M.Sc in Computing Science from Umeå University, from 1999 to 2004. In addition, they were an exchange student at Tohoku University from 2002 to 2003, studying Japanese, Japanese Culture, and Computer Science. Jacob also received certification as a Class-1 Sales Representative from JSDA in 2020.
