Ken Utsunomiya

Ken Utsunomiya has a extensive and diverse work experience in the financial industry. Ken started their career as a Business Analyst at IBJ (Mizuho) Securities in 1999. From there, they held various roles at BNP Paribas Securities Japan, including Head of Operations Department and Head of IT & Operations Department. Ken also worked as a Project Manager at the BNP Paribas /Project Management Organisation in London.

In 2006, Utsunomiya joined Newedge as Chief Operating Officer before moving on to Lyxor Asset Management, where they served as the COO for Lyxor Asset Management Japan and a member of the Board of Directors. Ken then joined Societe Generale as the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of CIB Japan.

In 2018, Utsunomiya became an Adjunct Professor at Kyoto University Graduate School of Management, where they taught an investment banking industry class.

Currently, Utsunomiya holds several positions at Mizuho, including Joint Chief Process Officer (CPrO) and Global Head of Operations at Mizuho Securities. Ken has also served as the Joint Global Head of Operations and Managing Director at Mizuho.
