Serge Gabovich

Serge Gabovich has over 20 years of work experience in finance and insurance. Serge is currently the Managing Director and Head of Strategy and Analytics in the Structured Credit Group at Mizuho, a position they have held since 2015. Before joining Mizuho, they worked as a Director at BNP Paribas CIB - Solutions and Structuring from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs from 2009 to 2011. Serge also worked at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President in the Global Capital Markets division from 2005 to 2009. Before moving into the banking sector, they started their career as an Actuarial Student at MetLife in 1998, and later worked as an Actuarial Associate at Mutual of America Financial Group from 2000 to 2004. Serge briefly worked as an Actuary at AIG from 2004 to 2005. Overall, Serge Gabovich has extensive experience in finance, strategy, analytics, and actuarial services.

Serge Gabovich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Rutgers University in the years 1994 to 1998. Serge later obtained additional certifications including Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in 2004, and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) from the American Academy of Actuaries in 2003.
