Thomas Harmon

Thomas Harmon is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director at Mizuho since May 2019. Previously, Thomas held the position of Managing Director at Amherst Securities Group from July 2012 to April 2019 and at Cantor Fitzgerald from December 2008 to June 2012. Earlier in the career, Thomas served as VP Rates Sales and VP MBS Trading at Merrill Lynch from March 2003 to October 2008, and as Sr. Trader at Fannie Mae Corporation from 1998 to 2003. Thomas began the career as a Mortgage Officer at First Virginia Banks, Inc. in 1993. Academically, Thomas earned a Master of Science in Business from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland.
