Woong Gu Lee

Woong Gu Lee is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in syndicated finance and corporate client management. Currently serving as Director of the Asia-Pacific Syndicated Finance Department at Mizuho since July 2024, Woong Gu Lee previously held the role of Director for Global Korean Corporate Clients at Rabobank from August 2023 to July 2024. Prior to these positions, Woong Gu Lee worked at Mizuho from December 2018 to August 2023 as Vice President of the Asia Syndicated Finance Department, specializing in loan origination, syndication, trading, and structuring across the APAC region. Earlier experience includes a Financial Institution Relationship Manager role at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Corporate Client Service Manager at HSBC, where responsibilities encompassed developing client relationships and providing tailored financial solutions. Woong Gu Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University at Buffalo between 2003 and 2009.
