Yoshiharu Toyoshima

Yoshiharu Toyoshima has extensive work experience in the financial industry, primarily at Mizuho. Yoshiharu started their career at Mizuho Information & Research Institute in 2007 as an Engineer, where they developed and tested a web-based commodity derivatives trade management system. Yoshiharu then progressed to the role of System Engineer, managing systems related to derivatives, futures, and money market operations. In 2014, they became the Chief System Engineer, leading software development teams and implementing products using Java technology. In 2016, Toyoshima joined Mizuho as a Senior Associate Director and recently transitioned to the role of Director - Regional CIO office in 2023. In this role, they provide PMO functions, leads changes to identify organizational challenges, and collaborates with relevant IT teams to enhance control measures.

Yoshiharu Toyoshima earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Tokyo University of Science in 2006. In 2024, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Imperial College Business School. In 2021, they obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
