Zahid Ahmed

Zahid Ahmed has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Zahid is currently the Managing Director and Head of Consumer and Retail M&A at Mizuho, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Managing Director at China International Capital Corporation (CICC) for two years from May 2019 to October 2021. Zahid also has experience as a Founder at Radius Partners LLC, where they worked as an independent financial advisor for corporate clients from September 2016 to April 2019. Before that, they were a Managing Director at Perella Weinberg Partners for ten years from May 2006 to August 2016. Zahid's earlier work experience includes roles as a Private Equity Associate at Trimaran Capital Partners, an Associate at Deutsche Bank, and a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Zahid Ahmed holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School, which was completed in 2002. Prior to that, they received a BA in Economics from Vassar College in 1997. Zahid also attended the University of Oxford as a Visiting Student - Junior Year, studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including Series 24, Series 63, and Series 7 from FINRA.
