Aaron Williams

Aaron Williams has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Aaron currently holds the position of Director of Finance - Supply Chain at MJ Holding Company, LLC, where they partner with the Chief Operations Officer to monitor and manage operations expenses, drive operating performance, and analyze trends for potential risks and opportunities.

Prior to their current role, Aaron worked as an Associate Director FP&A (Consultant) at CareerBuilder, where they led cross-functional teams in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. Aaron also implemented process improvements and conducted financial modeling to optimize ROI.

Before that, Aaron served as the Corporate Controller/Vice President Finance at Permatron, overseeing cash activity, accrual accounting, resource allocations, AR/AP, payroll, and reporting. Aaron prepared financial statements and ensured compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

In their role as Finance Manager at Radiac Abrasives, A TYROLIT Company, Aaron conducted financial analysis of revenue, expenses, and operational metrics. Aaron automated processes and standardized planning strategies to integrate financial and business planning activities.

At Plano Synergy, Aaron held the position of Operations Accounting & Reporting Manager, where they had full P&L responsibility for three manufacturing locations and two distribution centers. Aaron implemented inventory control management, automated accounting entries, and developed a standard product cost model. Aaron also executed all accounting, reporting, and analyses for global operations.

Prior to that, Aaron worked as an Assistant Controller-Manufacturing at Samuel Strapping Systems, streamlining accounting activities across three manufacturing plants. Aaron also forecasted projects and production planning, tracked raw material supplies and prices, and identified cost-saving opportunities.

Aaron gained valuable experience as the Director Finance-Operations Accounting at John Morrell Food Group, where they optimized bottom-line results through financial management for production, transportation, warehouse, and fixed assets. Aaron created budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, reconciled the general ledger, analyzed inventory, and maintained budgeting and forecasting for Co-pack/Intercompany operations.

Earlier in their career, Aaron worked as a Finance Manager at Sara Lee, a Senior Financial Analyst at McCain Foods, and a Senior Cost Analyst at Wrigley.

Throughout their career, Aaron Williams has demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. Aaron has successfully implemented process improvements, automated systems, and standardized procedures to enhance operational efficiency and drive profitable growth.

Aaron Williams earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Psychology from Aurora University, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Aaron later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Technology & Operations Management, also from Aurora University, from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained certifications in "Amp It Up With Mapping" and "Laying the Foundation" from Vena Solutions, both in January 2022.
