Romanita H. has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, a nonprofit organization that supports Pacific Northwest nonprofits. Romanita joined this organization in 2022.

Prior to their current role, Romanita founded MORE320 in 2016 and served as the Founding President. MORE320 is an organization that enables people and organizations to contribute to the common good. Romanita was responsible for leading various programs under MORE320, including thought leadership on social issues impacting child well-being.

From 2018 to 2022, Romanita worked at Microsoft in multiple roles. Romanita was the Global Technical Content Portfolio Director, where they managed the technical training and certification portfolios for various Microsoft products. Romanita also served as the Principal, Technical Content Portfolio Director, Business Applications, leading the planning and delivery of the global Business Applications portfolio. Additionally, Romanita held the position of Director of 21st Century Jobs, Skills, and Employability, focusing on strengthening workforce ecosystems through partnerships and technology-enabled solutions.

Prior to their time at Microsoft, Romanita worked at the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust as a Program Director from 2016 to 2018. Romanita was responsible for granting funds to organizations in the Pacific Northwest to strengthen the region's educational, spiritual, and cultural base.

Romanita also has a long history with World Vision, where they served as the Vice President of U.S. Programs from 1996 to 2016. In this role, they oversaw the deployment of resources and staff, as well as the development and implementation of domestic program strategies. Romanita also held other roles at World Vision, including National Field Operations Director and Executive Director/Program Director.

In addition to their roles in the nonprofit sector, Romanita worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Seattle Pacific University from 2007 to 2011, teaching in the School of Business.

Romanita H. has a diverse education history. Romanita first attended the University of Washington from 1991 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology. During the same period, they also obtained another Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from the same university.

After a few years, Romanita pursued further education at Eastern University from 2001 to 2005. Romanita completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Global Development and Non-Profit Management. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in NGO Leadership from Eastern University in July 2001.

Currently, Romanita is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organizational Development & Leadership at Regent University. Romanita started their doctoral studies in 2020 and is expected to complete the program in 2024.

To enhance their skills and expertise, Romanita has also obtained additional certifications. In January 2019, they achieved the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association. This certification highlights their proficiency in public speaking.
