Steve Clark is an experienced Loan Officer currently with MJW Mortgage since September 2022, following a tenure at Ruoff Mortgage and Merchants Bank of Indiana, where responsibilities included facilitating mortgage loans. Prior to roles in the mortgage industry, Steve held various positions such as Field Sales Representative and Maintenance Technician at Robert Dietrick Co., as well as serving in customer-facing roles in the hospitality sector at Tavern Uptown and The Cheesecake Factory. Steve also garnered experience in sales and customer service as a Sales Representative at Verizon Wireless, consistently ranking in the top 10% in the district. Early career experience includes a Financial Representative/Intern role at Northwestern Mutual, focusing on client goal setting and insurance sales. Steve holds a degree in General Studies from Indiana University Bloomington.

Our Story: Now known as MJW Mortgage, MJW Financial LLC first opened its doors in early 2008 in spite of the unfavorable housing market conditions. Unhappy with the reputation given to mortgage banks subsequent to the fall of numerous lenders, the founder decided to create a company whose sole purpose would be to provide affordable and appropriate mortgages to both homeowners with the desire to refinance, and home buyers wishing to purchase. Customer service and the willingness to exhaust every available resource are the two main principles that drive the MJW team. MJW’s ultimate goal is to understand your immediate needs, as well as your plans for the future, and introduce you to a loan that will satisfy both. Fulfilling this goal with every customer has resulted in MJW growing every year since it’s inception.
