William Dawes

William Dawes possesses extensive experience in the rare earth minerals industry, currently serving as Director at HyProMag Ltd since January 2020, focusing on the commercialisation of NdFeB magnet recycling. Dawes also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Mkango Resources Ltd since December 2010, contributing to the development of sustainable sources for critical rare earth elements. In addition to these roles, Dawes is a Board Member of the Global Rare Earth Industry Association and a Director at Leominex. Previous positions include consulting and analytical roles at notable firms such as JPMorgan Chase and Rio Tinto. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Bristol.
