Derek Utley

Derek Utley is a Senior Designer at MKEC Engineering, Inc., where employment began in June 2021. Previously, Derek served as the Director of Residential Business Operations at Beran Concrete Inc. from April 2019 to June 2021 and worked as the Design Manager in the Structural Division at ASM Engineering Consultants, Inc. from March 2017 to August 2018. Earlier in their career, Derek was a Lead Technician at MKEC Engineering, Inc. from August 2001 to March 2017, focusing on developing plans for sanitary sewer, water distribution, and storm sewer systems as well as commercial building sites. Derek completed education at Butler Community College from 2000 to 2004.
