Dennis Buerk has over 30 years of professional experience in IT, project management, and operations. In 2018, they began working at MKGCS as an SME/Project Manager, responsible for maintaining full compliance with project artifacts, deliverables, and schedule of the MARRS-N System. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Tiber Creek Consulting as a Liaison/Operations Director, responsible for managing existing operations and implementing new operations processes for the RCMS-Guard System. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at Military Personnel Services Corporation as a PM RCMS, serving as the Liaison/Operations Director for the ARNG RCMS-G System and Quality Assurance Director for the ARNG RCMS-G System. From 1992 to 2008, they worked at AT&T Gov't Solutions as a Sr. Systems Analyst, programming in a variety of languages. From 1986 to 1992, they worked at U.S. Army Reserve (AGR) as an Automatic Data Processing Systems Technician, assisting in the design, development, testing, and implementation of the Active Guard/Reserve Management Information System (AGRMIS).

Dennis Buerk received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Mgmt Comp. Info. Systems from Park University between 1988 and 1991. Dennis also attended the University of Missouri-Saint Louis for General Studies. Additionally, Dennis has obtained several certifications, including a Professional Project Executive (PPE) from PRODEVIA LEARNING in May 2022, an ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2014, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in October 2013, and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in August 2014.
