Eddy Shek's work experience begins in 2004 as a Test Analyst at CitiFinancial, where they managed and created test plans for user acceptance testing. In 2007, they joined Accenture as a Test Analyst and worked on various projects, including the Department of Work and Pensions' Universal Credits project and the Rural Payments Agency. From 2010 to 2011, Eddy worked as a Test Analyst at Accenture for British Telecom PLC, focusing on system integration and user acceptance testing. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Functional Test Analyst for Eddy'sMajestys Revenue and Customs. In 2013, Eddy joined G4S Utility Services as a Test Analyst, leading testing for various projects, including the implementation of a new CRM solution. Eddy is currently working at mkodo, where they have held multiple roles since 2016, including QA Engineer, Interim QA Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager.
Eddy Shek earned a BA Honours degree in Business Studies with Computing from the University of Sunderland from 1996 to 1999. Before that, they attended Framwellgate Moor Comprehensive School 6th Form from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained a BTEC GNVQ Advanced Business and Finance qualification. Eddy also completed their secondary education at Framwellgate Moor Comprehensive, earning 9 GCSE's from 1989 to 1994.
