Chris Sims has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Currently, at MKS Instruments, they hold the position of Global Service Director- Product Marketing. In this role, they are responsible for product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for Global Services. Chris collaborates with various departments to release new service solutions and optimize profitability. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at MKS Instruments. Before joining MKS Instruments, Chris worked at ADP as a District Manager in Business Process Outsourcing. Earlier in their career, they held multiple roles at MKS Instruments, including Senior Manager, Product Management & Marketing, Product Marketing Manager, and District Sales Manager.
Chris Sims earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Purdue University in 2008. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategic Management and Finance at Purdue University Daniels School of Business from 2013 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained several certifications, including "Unlocking the Potential of Women" from McKinsey & Company, "Agile Excellence for Product Managers and Product Owners" from The 280 Group, and "Product Management" from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
