Jay Titus has extensive experience in engineering and management within the optics and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant at MKS Instruments since August 2016, Jay previously held the position of Director of Quality and Reliability Engineering, retiring in 2022. Prior to MKS Instruments, Jay was the Senior Manager of Reliability Engineering at Spectra-Physics, where the company was acquired by MKS Instruments. Jay co-founded PowerNetix Inc, serving as Chairman, CEO, and President, and was Engineering Manager for Reliability at Novalux. Additionally, Jay held various roles at Lumentum and Lockheed Martin, focusing on electro-optics R&D, business development, and program management. Jay's educational background includes a BS in Engineering Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and further studies at Stanford University and MIT.
