John Hartog

John Hartog has extensive work experience in finance and operations roles. John is currently working as the Head of Finance, Global Operations, and Service at MKS Instruments since 2022. Previously, they worked at Philips, where they held multiple positions. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Head of Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, overseeing daily operations and financial performance. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, they were the Senior Director of Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, responsible for managing global manufacturing sites and establishing departmental goals. Before joining Philips, they worked at Philips Lighting from 2015 to 2016 as the Director of Operations Strategy, evaluating strategies to improve profitability. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Director of Finance at Philips Lighting Electronics North America Corporation, overseeing multiple sites and improving financial performance. Throughout their career, John Hartog has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategy development, and process improvement.

John Hartog has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Innovation Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam. John also holds a Register Controller/Executive Master of Finance and Control (RC/EMFC) degree from TIAS School for Business and Society.
