Rowland Yin

Rowland Yin is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer at MKS Inc. since June 2020, Rowland has focused on developing precision semiconductor equipment lasers and designing innovative optical modules. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Kateeva, contributing to OLED display equipment, and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Oracle, where Rowland designed complex enterprise server packages. Additional roles include engineering positions at Morgan Hill BioEnergy, KLA, Genus, Synaptics Incorporated, LTX-Credence, Pycon, and Hoya ConBio, encompassing diverse projects in high-tech and medical industries. Rowland holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
