Zachary Sonner

Zachary Sonner is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at MKS Instruments since January 2022, Zachary oversees a team developing high power RF generators for the semiconductor market, ensuring alignment with customer expectations in product development. Previously, as Director of Platform Engineering at Refraction AI, Zachary provided leadership in deploying semi-autonomous delivery robots and showcased strong technical skills as a Mechanical Engineer. Zachary has also held roles such as Product Validation Engineer at Hyundai Kia America Technical Center, Adjunct Professor at Washtenaw Community College and Henry Ford College, and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, where innovative research was conducted in sweat-sensing technology. Zachary's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
