Aminu Koguna

Aminu Koguna has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. aminu started out as a Trainee Mechanical Engineer at Integrated Engineering Associates in 1997 and then moved on to Dantata & Sawoe Construction Company Limited in 1998, where they gained experience in the supervision and inspection of servicing and repair of various vehicles and equipment. In 2004, they became a Director at Africa Technical Services Limited, where they sourced contracts and formulated logistics processes for construction projects.

In 2007, Aminu Koguna joined the University of Bradford as a Student Ecoversity Ambassador, where they created sustainable policies and implemented start-up operations for the university's bio-diesel plant. aminu then worked as a Project Engineer/Managing Director at Tripple K Investment Limited from 2002 to 2010, where they managed engineering projects and consistently delivered them on time and under budget.

From 2010 to 2017, Aminu Koguna pursued a PhD in Process Systems Engineering and Flow Assurance at Cranfield University, conducting research and collaborating with oil companies. aminu also worked with the Delta V SCADA control system and calibrated flow meters and pumps.

In 2016, Aminu Koguna worked as a Consultant at Tripple K Investment Limited, and in 2018, they joined the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency as an Assistant Chief Marine Safety Officer, conducting surveys and safety inspections of maritime vessels. Currently, they are working remotely as the Head Engineer at Urban Mobility Labs, where they are responsible for feasibility studies, research, concept design, and engineering.

Aminu Koguna's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering from Cranfield University, obtained from 2010 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Automotive Engineering from the University of Bradford in 2008. aminu also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bayero University, which they obtained from 1994 to 2002. Additionally, Aminu Koguna studied mechanical engineering at the Nigerian Defence Academy from 1991 to 1994. Along with their academic qualifications, they have a certification in Flow Assurance with OLGA from SPT Group.
