Luka S.

Luka S. has a varied work experience in the legal field. Luka began their career as a Lawyer at Primorje d.d. in 2006 and later worked as a Legal Counsel at ILIRIKA. In 2008, they became a Legal Adviser at Merkur d.d. and then took on the role of Legal Apprentice at High Court Koper in 2010. Luka S. joined Litostroj Power d.o.o. in 2011 as a Corporate Lawyer and eventually became the Head of Legal Department. Luka also served as the Director of the Branch Office Zagreb, where they were responsible for branch office operations and compliance with Croatian legislation. In 2022, Luka S. joined PwC as a Manager in Tax and Legal Services. Most recently, they have been working at Mladinska knjiga as the Head of Legal Department and Data Protection Officer.

Luka S. began their education in 2000 at the University of Maribor Faculty of Law, where they pursued a degree in Law. Luka completed their undergraduate studies in 2005, obtaining the degree univ. dipl. prav. / LL.B. After a gap of several years, in 2011, Luka S. took the State Bar Exam administered by the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Justice. In terms of additional certifications, Luka S. earned an International Legal English Certificate (ILEC) from Cambridge ESOL in January 2013. Additionally, in January 2007, they obtained a certificate on competency of the member of the Supervisory and Management boards of Companies from the Slovenian Directors' Association.
