David L. Thomas

David L. Thomas currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Security & Ballpark Operations for Major League Baseball, a position held since October 2018, where responsibilities include leading the strategic planning and execution of security programs. Prior to this role, David worked as the Vice President of Security for the Sacramento Kings from February 2017 to September 2018, overseeing security operations for the team and its venues. David's extensive background in law enforcement includes a 25-year tenure as a Special Agent in Charge with the U.S. Secret Service and earlier experience as a Police Officer with the FBI. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Mary Washington.
