Senior Vice President & Head Counsel, Business And Technology at Major League Baseball

Sarah Horvitz has extensive legal experience in the sports and business sectors, currently serving as Senior Vice President & Head Counsel for Business and Technology at Major League Baseball since March 2009, after holding positions as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Senior Counsel, and Counsel. Prior to MLB, Sarah worked as an associate at Holme Roberts & Owen LLP from 2007 to 2009, supporting National Governing Bodies of Olympic sports with corporate matters and arbitration. Sarah also practiced as an associate in the antitrust department at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, contributing to significant litigation against the credit card industry. Sarah began a career in sports as an aerialist for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team from 2000 to 2002. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in American Studies from Wellesley College.
