Brenda Slay

Brenda Slay has an extensive work history that spans over several decades. Brenda began their career at Frito Lay in 1986 as a Project Engineer, where they focused on developing process equipment, managing scale-ups, and implementing process improvements. Brenda worked on a project that resulted in a 33% increase in throughput for an existing product. Brenda then moved to Overwatch Systems Tactical Operations in 1998, where they worked as a Design Engineer. In this role, they designed mechanical components and electronics packaging for satellite communications and telecommunications programs, using SolidWorks for modeling and creating manufacturing drawings. Brenda joined Toolmen Corporation in 2005 as a Project Engineer, where they designed custom CNC machines and implemented a documentation control system. Brenda also served as a project manager for machines used in sand screen production. Finally, Brenda joined MLC CAD Systems in 2014 as an Inside Sales Manager.

Brenda Slay pursued their education at The University of Texas at Austin from 1981 to 1985. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
