Joe Cavallo

Joe Cavallo is a Field Engineer and Safety Coordinator at MLJ Contracting Corp, involved in the LIRR-Hall Interlocking Expansion DB Project, a significant $91.8M contract for the construction of a new railroad bridge and tracks. Previously, Joe served as a Project Services Intern at Nexus Engineering Group, LLC, where responsibilities included reviewing project budgets, developing workflows, and producing dashboard reports. Prior experience includes roles as a Viceroy at Barstool Sports, a Construction Management Intern at Jacobs for the Nanuet Union Free School District project, and a Construction Inspector at HVEA Engineers, performing field testing and inspections. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering and Management from Case Western Reserve University, along with a minor in Business Management from the Weatherhead School of Management.
