René Marke

René Marke, PhD, has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Their most recent position was as the Head Clinical Study Management at MLM Medical Labs, where they oversaw the management of clinical studies. Prior to this, they held roles such as Global Study Coordinator and Team Leader - Clinical Study Manager at MLM Medical Labs.

Before joining MLM Medical Labs, René Marke worked as a Junior Project Manager and Project Management Trainee at CRS Clinical Research Services. They also underwent training as a Clinical Research Associate at mibeg Institut Medizin, where they gained knowledge and skills in monitoring clinical studies, national and international laws, and various aspects of clinical research.

Earlier in their career, René Marke served as a PhD Student at Radboudumc and a Research Trainee at University Health Network and Radboud University Nijmegen.

René Marke, PhD obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Biology from Radboud University in 2011. Subsequently, Marke pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Molecular Mechanisms of diseases (MMD) at the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Marke then went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell Biology from Radboud University between the years 2013 and 2018. In 2018, Marke also received training as a Clinical Research Associate at the Mibeg-Institut Medizin.
