Yoav P. Shulman

Yoav P. Shulman (PhD) has extensive experience in neurophysiology, currently serving as the manager of the neurophysiology department at MD Biosciences since November 2017. Additionally, Shulman has been self-employed as a surgical neurophysiologist since December 2016, specializing in electrophysiology monitoring during spine and brain surgeries. Prior to these roles, Shulman completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on the biophysics of dendrites from November 2014 to December 2016. Shulman earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, where research centered on the effect of ATP on synaptic activity, alongside constructing and operating electrophysiology systems. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biophysics of the synapse from Ben-Gurion University and ongoing postdoctoral studies in Biophysics of the neuron at the Technion.
