Ruqayah Rahaman

Ruqayah Rahaman is an accomplished professional in the field of sports media, with a Bachelor's degree in RTA Sport Media from Toronto Metropolitan University, complemented by a double minor in Marketing and Sociology. Currently serving as a Traffic Coordinator at MLSE, Ruqayah has also held roles as a Digital Arena Production Assistant and Programming, Traffic & Production Intern within the organization. Experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses at Toronto Metropolitan University, an Electronics Graphics Operator at Sportsnet, and a Project Lead and Content Specialist at Global Experiential Sport Lab. Ruqayah has contributed to significant events, including the 2022 Beijing Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in program assistant roles at CBC/Radio-Canada. Previous positions also include tutoring at SharpMinds Tutoring Inc. and serving as an Information Officer for Elections Canada.
