With over 10 years of experience in IT management across startups, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), finance, and EMEA organizations, Raj Ahmed is a seasoned professional in the technology domain. He currently leads IT operations for a prominent Real Estate Investment firm, headquartered in Dubai’s business district, with an additional office in Canary Wharf, London.

Raj’s expertise spans a wide array of technology domains, including security, DevOps, infrastructure management, virtualization, and the Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems. His hands-on experience is complemented by a deep understanding of enterprise IT, having spearheaded numerous high-impact projects. He has earned certifications and competencies as a Microsoft Gold Partner, ISO27001 auditor, and cybersecurity specialist.

Before his current role, Raj spent 8 years as IT Manager at Camwood Limited, a leading MSP that supports numerous scaling startups in the SaaS/PaaS space. During this time, he garnered a wealth of certifications from Microsoft, VMware, and AWS, solidifying his technical prowess.

Earlier in his career, Raj worked for SWIIS, a UK-based private social services provider, where he quickly rose from IT Systems Analyst to Team Leader over six years. His journey reflects a strong track record of leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to driving technological innovation across diverse sectors.

From 2001 to 2009, Raj worked as a Telecoms Engineer before transitioning into a role as an IT Support Analyst. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Multimedia from the University of Westminster, where he graduated in 2001.
