Emily Bouman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Emily is currently working as a Senior Art Director for the Go To Market Team at Modern Marketing & Commerce since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director and Designer for their own company, Emily Bouman Design, since July 2008. Emily has worked with clients such as the ASPCA, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and the YMCA of Greater New York. Emily Bouman has a diverse education history. Emily began their studies at New York University in 1997 and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Drama. Afterward, they attended the School of Visual Arts from 2006 to 2007, focusing on Graphic Design. Additionally, they pursued further education at the Pratt Institute from 2008 to 2010, obtaining an Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degree in Graphic Design.
