Jen Bouchard-Mitchell

Jen Bouchard-Mitchell has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing, graphic design, and creative management. Jen currently holds the position of Marketing Director at Modern Marketing & Commerce since March 2023. Prior to this role, they had been working as an Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer at the same company since September 2019 and March 2015, respectively.

Before joining Modern Marketing & Commerce, Jen worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer since January 2011. Additionally, they gained experience as a Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist at SaveAround Partnership Solutions from September 2012 to 2014.

Jen also worked at Enjoy the City North from March 2010 to November 2012, where they served as a Graphic Designer and was responsible for bringing the previously outsourced design in-house. Prior to that, they held the position of Marketing & Creative Manager at CNY Newspaper Group / Gannett from August 2007 to July 2009. Earlier in their career, Jen worked at Press & Sun-Bulletin / Gannett from September 1998 to September 2007, first as a Marketing Senior Graphic Artist and later as a Marketing Communications Manager overseeing the creative aspects of effective marketing campaigns and branding for three Gannett Newspapers.

Jen Bouchard-Mitchell began their education in 1992 at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied Graphic Design. Jen continued their studies at Binghamton University from 1993 to 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design within the field of Fine Arts. After a substantial break in their education, they returned to school in 2014 at SUNY Broome, where they earned a Certificate in Web Development & Management in 2015.
