Ira Cohen

Ira Cohen has over 20 years of experience in business development, marketing, and leadership roles. Ira currently serves as the VP of Business Development and Marketing at MMDSmart since February 2016. Prior to this, they were a consultant at The Unboxed Marketer, specializing in marketing and business development, starting in February 2011. From November 2013 to February 2016, Ira worked as an Online Marketing Executive and Customer Success Lead at Eye Care Pro. Ira also co-founded and served as the VP of Marketing at Intensix from January 2013 to November 2014. Ira held the position of VP of Marketing at Infinite Memory from March 2011 to September 2012. Before that, they worked at SanDisk for several years, where they served as Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development in the HealthCare Solutions division from February 2009 to February 2011. Ira also held various senior roles in business development and marketing at SanDisk from 2003 to 2009. Earlier in their career, Ira served as the Director of Business Development and Product Marketing at Eurocom Cellular Communications from March 1999 to February 2003. Ira also worked as the Head of Mobile and Data at Kardan Investments from April 1998 to March 1999. Ira's career began at LM Ericsson Israel as the Country Manager for Israel from May 1997 to May 1998.

Ira Cohen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Economics from Queens College from 1975 to 1978. Later, from 1988 to 1999, they attended Ruppin Academic Center to study Advanced Marketing Management. In 1990, they participated in a Seminar- New Methods in Product and Consumer Analysis at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
