Jorge Zafra

Jorge Zafra is a highly experienced hydrologist with a diverse background in both industry and academia. Currently serving as Principal Hydrologist and Hydrology and Water Resources Superintendent at MMG Limited since March 2019, Jorge Zafra also holds a position as a Lecturer in the Environmental Engineering Department at UTEC since January 2020. Previous roles include Team Leader in Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering and Project Manager/Senior Hydrologist at WSP from January 2017 to February 2019, and Lecturer in Hydrology and Water Resources at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas from August 2015 to December 2018. Jorge Zafra's career also includes consultancy work at Amphos 21, project leadership at Schlumberger Water Services, and educational roles at various universities. Jorge Zafra's educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Hydrology and Water Resources from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and a degree in Mechanical of Flows Engineering from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, among others.
