Shannon Cogan

Shannon Cogan is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Corporate Legal Counsel Governance and Company Secretary at MMG Limited since May 2015, with previous experience in compliance roles. Prior to this, Shannon worked as Legal Counsel at CPA Australia from June 2012 to May 2015, providing strategic corporate and commercial advice across various business areas. Earlier experience includes serving as a Commercial Lawyer at SP AusNet, where Shannon advised on a wide range of commercial activities, and as a Lawyer in Corporate M&A at both Herbert Geer and Clayton Utz, where skills in transactional document drafting and negotiation were developed. Shannon holds Bachelor's Degrees in Law and Legal Practice and International Studies from Flinders University and has further education from the Governance Institute of Australia.
