Ken Inoue

General Manager, Japan/APAC at mmhmm

Ken Inoue has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 1992. Ken began their career at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where they were a Manager in the International Business Department. In 2000, they became an Executive Officer/CFO at Internet Incubator NetAge, Inc. (now UNITED, Inc. TSE Mothers 2497). Ken then went on to be a Manager in the President's Office at CIS Corporation (now Sony Global Solutions) in 2001. In 2002, they became a Principal at Globis Capital Partners, where they focused on early-stage investments in innovative mobile services and emerging technologies. In 2007, they became an Executive Officer at Zopa Japan, where they were a key member of the UK-based P2P finance start-up's Japan entry initiative. In 2009, they became a Director/CFO at Tonchidot Corporation, where they were employee #3 and headed strategic initiatives for the smartphone application/services start-up. In 2012, they became General Manager, APAC & Japan at Evernote, where they headed operations in APAC & Japan and launched Evernote Business. In 2018, they became an Advisor at Tellus. In 2020, they became General Manager, Japan/APAC at mmhmm.

Ken Inoue received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from Keio University between 1988 and 1992. Ken then earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business between 1995 and 1997.
