Tyrone Reid has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tyrone is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer for MMI - Maritime and Mercantile International, a subsidiary of the Emirates Group specializing in beverage marketing, sales, and distribution. Tyrone also holds the same role in Emirates Leisure Retail, another subsidiary of the Emirates Group that owns and operates various restaurants, cafes, and bars globally.

Prior to their current positions, Tyrone Reid was the Chief Executive Officer of Alabbar Enterprises - Retail, Food, and Beverage from 2014 to 2022. Tyrone also served as a Non-Executive Director at Dubai Hospitality Group from 2014 to 2018.

Before joining Alabbar Enterprises, they worked at M. H. Alshaya Co. as a Business Manager and Senior Operations Manager for Shake Shack in the Middle East, Turkey, Russia, and the UK. Tyrone held roles at SSP Group Plc. as the Director of Operations, at Mitchells & Butlers PLC as a Regional Operations Manager, and at Threshers as a Regional Manager. Tyrone'searliest professional experience was as a Senior General Manager at Mitchells & Butlers PLC and as a General Manager at Fox and Hounds in Denmark.

Tyrone Reid obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Anglia Ruskin University from 2005 to 2009. In 2004, they briefly attended the University of Central Florida – Rosen College of Hospitality Management, focusing on Hospitality Administration/Management. Previously, from 1989 to 1991, Tyrone studied Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management/Manager at Braintree Catering College. Additionally, they completed Levels 1 & 2 at the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in 2003.
