Renee Stormes Phr

Renee Stormes has over 30 years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on leadership and strategic planning. Most recently, they held the position of Vice President Human Resources at MMI Hospitality Group since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as HR Director at MMI Hospitality Group from 2017 to 2021.

Before joining MMI Hospitality Group, Renee was the Director of Corporate Human Resources at YoungWilliams PC from 2007 to 2016. In this role, they led a team of HR Managers and Specialists across multiple states, overseeing various HR initiatives such as recruiting, retention, organizational development, benefits, and compensation.

In 1998-1999, they attended Michigan State University, where they obtained a Master of Labor Relations & Human Resource Management with a focus on Labor and Industrial Relations. Renee continued their education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they pursued a Master of Science in Hotel, Restaurant & Travel Administration. Renee then attended Arkansas Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Management. In addition to their academic achievements, Renee Stormes has obtained two professional certifications. Renee is a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and is also a Society for Human Resources Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
