Elisa Scaccianoce, Ph.D, has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the medical and research fields.

Elisa started their career at Ospedale M. Bufalini-Cesena as a clinical trainee in 2010. Elisa then worked as a visiting student at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2013, where they served as a biomedical engineer.

In 2014, Elisa joined Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi ONLUS as a research coordinator. Elisa'smain focus was on coordinating clinical trials for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Multiple Sclerosis. Elisa also analyzed MR images to develop advanced techniques for studying brain connectivity.

From 2014 to 2018, Elisa worked as a PhD researcher at Politecnico di Milano.

In 2015, they briefly served as a biomedical engineer and researcher at King's College London.
