Kate Rumrill

Kate Rumrill is a highly experienced leader in the medical and biotechnology fields, currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at MMI - Medical Microinstruments, Inc. since October 2025. As an Independent Board Advisor for Kate Rumrill Consulting and a Board Member for both MassMEDIC and NeoSync, Inc., Rumrill brings extensive expertise to various organizations. Previously, Rumrill held the positions of President and CEO at Ablative Solutions from June 2019 to December 2024 and at Autus Valve Technologies, Inc. for a brief period in early 2025. Rumrill’s prior experience includes significant roles at Covidien, where responsibilities included Vice President of Global Medical Affairs and Senior Director of Clinical Affairs, as well as a notable tenure at Eli Lilly and Company. Academic credentials include an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix, a BS in Biology and Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego, and a certification in Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School.
