Briathrine McKay

Briathrine (Bri) McKay has extensive work experience in the field of clinical data management. Briathrine (Bri) began their career at IQVIA in 2007 as a Clinical Data Coordinator, where they served as a Data Operations Coordinator for various protocols. Briathrine (Bri) then progressed to the role of Sr Clinical Data Coordinator, where they managed the delivery of projects through the full data management study life-cycle. Briathrine also served as an Associate Clinical Data Manager (Quality Review Specialist), conducting internal Data Management Quality Reviews and participating in the review of corrective/preventative actions. Briathrine (Bri) later became a Snr Quality Clinical Data Manager, responsible for ensuring the quality of clinical data management processes.

In 2021, Briathrine joined Synteract as a Clinical Data Manager (DTL), where they played a crucial role in managing and overseeing clinical data for projects. Briathrine (Bri) then moved on to join MMS as an Associate Data Team Lead, before being promoted to the role of Data Team Lead. Their responsibilities in these roles included leading teams, managing data projects, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data.

Throughout their career, Briathrine has gained valuable experience in data management, quality review, and project coordination within the clinical research industry.

Briathrine (Bri) McKay attended the University of the Free State from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiotechnology. Additionally, they earned an Industrial Quality Management Diploma from the same university in 2001.
