Jim Balcom

Jim Balcom has extensive experience in the life sciences and clinical research industries. Jim most recently worked at MMS as the Director of Partnerships and IT Governance, where they were responsible for developing key IT processes and governance to drive efficiency and provide high-quality services to clients. Prior to that, they held the role of VP of Business Development at Clinical Solutions Group and held various roles at Experis, including Platform Director of Health and Life Sciences and VP of Clinical Solutions and BI/Analytics Practice. Jim also worked at DOCS Global as the Director of Business Development and at UCB as an Account Executive. Jim's experience spans across business development, project management, and IT governance in the life sciences field.

Jim Balcom earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Personnel Management - Sports Management from Central Michigan University, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Jim later obtained a Master's Certificate in Strategic Leadership and Decision Making from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business. Additionally, Balcom obtained certifications in Change Management Foundation from APMG International in 2022 and Six Sigma Yellow Belt from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in 2020.
