After having sailed out at sea, last as a Chief Engineer, on Oil Tankers, for several years, Sanjay Bhavnani came ashore in the year 1998. After two stints on shore, one at a marine training institute as in charge of all tanker-related training and the other at the head office of the Japanese Shipping Company in Tokyo, he moved to the then newly formed MMS Maritime (India) Pvt Ltd in April 2002. The company has been since then involved in the crewing and the training operations pertaining to the seafarers deployed on the tanker fleet vessels chartered to various oil majors.
