Mamta Nagrath has extensive experience in the field of systems management, having dedicated over three decades to MMTC Limited since March 1987, where the roles have progressed from Office Manager Programming to Deputy General Manager. Prior to this, Nagrath worked at Maruti Udyog Limited as an EDP Assistant from September 1984 to February 1987. Educational qualifications include an MBA in HR from Sikkim Manipal University (2009-2011), a Master of Science in Physics from Delhi University (1982-1984), and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Physics from Delhi University (1979-1982).

The Company has retail jewelry and its own branded Sterling Silverware (Sanchi) showrooms in various metro cities of India. It also supplies branded hallmarked gold and studded jewelry. The Company sells imported non-ferrous metals, such as copper, aluminum, zinc, lead, tin and nickel. It also sells imported minor metals, such as magnesium, antimony, silicon and mercury, and also industrial raw materials, including asbestos. It exports and imports agro products. It sells and imports fertilizers and fertilizer raw materials. The Company also operates an approximately 15 megawatt wind mill project located in Karnataka.
