Clare-Anne Magee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Clare-Anne currently holds the position of Head of Regional Care Partnerships - devolved nations at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Carers NI at Carers NI from 2016 to 2022. Clare-Anne also served as the Director of Parenting Forum at ODYSSEY PARENTING NI LIMITED from 2013 to 2016. From 2010 to 2013, they held the role of FAST Co-ordinator at Save the Children UK. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Children's Project Manager at An Munia Tober from 2006 to 2010, and as a Children and Young Person's Worker at BELFAST & LISBURN WOMEN'S AID from 2003 to 2006.

Clare-Anne Magee pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Social Policy at Queen's University Belfast from 1998 to 2001. Clare-Anne furthered their education by completing a Post-graduate certificate in Integrated Children's Services at the University of Worcester, spanning from 2008 to 2009.
